Trying out different things. Inspired by the work of Paul Lasaine.
Any suggestions for improvement are most welcome.

Featured in portuguese blog Coisas da Interwebs. Have an awesome weekend. If you could please share this feature, I'd really appreciate it, as lots of hard work goes into finding and selecting all the awesome art and running the blog. Thanks!

It's so amazing how simple and at the same time deep and all-sufficient in this way your paintings are... So cool. Just nothing to say...

I'd up the blue hue in the fog a bit to counterbalance the green and yellow and to offer the piece an even mistier appearance as even though the two figures fade out towards the horizon beautifully, the distance does not come through (to me) so great as their size and the length of the path would suggest.

ok you asked it - if you want to improve you can see it in three different ways!
1. Try giving more time to what you do adding more detail
2. Try doing what you already do in less amount of time

and if you could combine the two there you go improvement - oh number 3 is ...wait no that's illegal (mostly) but you don't need that...or do you o.O
hehe
nice painting really

Aw, I really like this! It looks very friendly and sweet. I think maybe a patch of bright blue sky at the exit would also help, since the story of the piece seems to be that a friendly guide has taken the smaller figure out of the dangers of the forest and back to where they were trying to go.

Princess Bride?
I like the use of light, it has a Hilderbrandt Bros. feel and even tho its digital it has a thick palate knife feel.
Good job!
